Ken Ortega is a Co-Owner and Lead Instructor for Homeland Personal Protection LLC based out of Las Vegas, NV. As a full-time firearms instructor, he specializes in defensive firearms training and has been a Certified and Active Intuitive Defensive Shooting Instructor and Defensive Firearms Coach through I.C.E. Training for over a decade.
The HPP Training Program offers a range of NRA and USCCA courses, with Ken's primary focus on Defense Courses Powered by Combat Focus Shooting and Intuitive Defensive Shooting. Ken has a passion for educating others and has had the privilege of safely guiding thousands of students through a wide range of training opportunities and is actively involved in developing new instructors for the HPP Training Program.
For the past six years, Ken has offered free educational seminars at the Las Vegas and Henderson 5.11 Tactical locations as a 5.11 Tactical ABR Always Be Ready Academy Instructor.
Ken is currently a Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s Pro Staff Member and has held that position for the past eight years, offering free educational seminars and training on firearms, ammunition, use of force, and hunting.
