This was my first time ordering to a FFL, so I was naturally somewhat nervous to use skyline and their services. Rest assured, this is the easiest and cheapest way to buy a firearm (in Colorado at least!). I will never purchase from the big box stores again. Max and team were insanely quick, and very responsive after a small issue with the phones/notification system. Even though I live quite far from the new location, I will 100% be back in the future!

For several years, I have relied on Max at Skyline Firearms Distribution for all of my ordering and FFL transfers. I have never had any issues with firearm purchases, but working with Max has been the easiest, fastest and least expensive of ANY FFL in Denver, ESPECIALLY over brick and mortar businesses. He’s always punctual, kind, knowledgeable, and my items are always ready. He’s super lowkey, knows his stuff, is on top of it when there is a law change, and explains what is changing quite simply. Also, I’ve never once felt pressured nor embarassed for asking a question that he had the answer to, or for not being able to afford the most expensive pistol/rifle.
Could I go to any of the litany of other gunshops for FFL transfers, etc. that may be a lot closer? Yes, of course, but here’s the thing: he’s earned my business a hundred times over because of his honesty and integrity. I was in sales for decades and I’m a loyal customer, who will happily drive a little further out of my way to patrionize a business that matches with the principles I hold, as well as how that person (or business) treats people.
People are so quick to write negative reviews that could potentially negatively impact a business, but seldom take moments to write a positive review, with facts and specific reasons FOR that business.

I can’t speak highly enough about the operation Max and his team run. Everything is clearly outlined from the start, and if you take the time to review the information they provide, the entire process is straightforward with no guesswork. It’s an exceptionally well-organized, professional, and affordable setup. If you’ve ever hesitated because of confusing paperwork or general uncertainty, they do an excellent job of removing those barriers and making the experience smooth from start to finish.

Wrapping up my third FFL transfer with Max. He is an absolute pleasure to work with. The process is simple, quick, and straightforward. Even though he is quite a distance away from me, it’s well worth it in the end because I save so much on the fees. If you have magazines above the capacity limit sent to him, he pins them for $5 per gun, not per magazine which is another plus, so I didn’t have to buy new 15 round magazines for $42 each! I will continue to use Skyline for all of my FFL transfers.
