Let me explain my experience with this place I’ve bough three firearms from here nothing extraordinary or special but simple and easy enough. I wanted to buy a rifle before August 1st. Being me I of course wanted to get an NFA item as it was going to be my last rifle for sometime. I did extensive research on the timeline even spoke with the NFA division with the ATF and concluded if I did everything right I could get my SBR before August 1st. My FFL was not accepting transfers on the gunbroker website, so I saw Bowers tactical was. I decided to order my rifle there and I would call once they had opened to make sure that it was okay that they handle the transfer. I called immediately at 10:00 am to be greeted by Justin. I explained that I had purchased a Knights Armament SR15 that was a 14.5 SBR that morning and was calling to ensure that it was okay the shop handle the transfer. His first question was “It’s a Knights Armament.” Maybe he didn’t hear me but I said yes it is. He then asked me “It’s an SBR?” Okay guy am I not speaking English? He then asked me his final question which was “Did you talk to Mike about it?” Dude unless I magically talked to Mike in the last 14 seconds then no that’s the whole reason I’m calling. He then transferred me to Mike. I explained the situation to Mike and without warning he immediately starts to crash out. Starts lecturing me about the new bill, and then starts ranting about legislation for NFA items that could or could not happen. I wasn’t even able to get a word in because every time I would start to say something he would immediately interrupt me to continue crashing out. He then told me this should have been done three months ago and that I was stupid for trying to do this now. The odds that I was the first person to ask this man a question at all that day is extremely high so the guy very obviously going through something. He may need to talk to someone. I’m not mad because they wouldn’t handle the transfer that his right as the FFL. I am mad because the level of customer service is awful it costs nothing to be polite and all he had to say was “Yeah were not doing NFA transfers at this time.” Of course no problem, but to have a grown man crash out at 10:00am? Crazy. I would not recommend this place due to the pompous attitude of the staff and owner when Centennial Gun Club is right up the road. Also by the way Mike obviously doesn’t do math well or know how to use a computer because he was telling me it was going to take months for my NFA item to receive ATF approval. Form 3 was approved in half a day not a week like he quoted. From certification to approval, 6 days just like is quoted on the ATF eforms website. Crazy. Don’t waste your time on this place go to CGC.

Mike and Rob are absolutely awesome! Huge wealth of knowledge, super friendly and very helpful. Got a can that was supposed to be hard to find, he had it in the store within a week, made the whole process way too easy. Definitely my go to gun shop.

Great price, Same day first come first serve gunsmithing. Hidden gem, diamond in the rough! Excellent Stop before taking a family member or friend to a range for the first time. Can’t sing praises high enough! Worth a visit anyday.
