Had an amazing experience at DCF today. Took their ccw class and Tyler the instructor was amazing. His knowledge of the state laws was incredible. I highly recomend this class. The real life scenarios that we went over and the breakdown gives you a chance to understand when you should brandish your firearm.

I visited to learn how to safely handle and shoot a pistol, and I had an outstanding experience. Tanner taught me the fundamental firearm safety rules, walked me through the basics of operating a pistol, and spent time coaching me on the range. He stayed with me, patiently correcting my technique until I felt confident enough to shoot on my own. He answered every question I had without ever making me feel rushed.
I also spoke with Gabe, who took the time to explain the differences between several types of pistols and helped me better understand what might work best for me. At no point did I feel pressured to make a purchase—everyone was respectful, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping me learn.
I’ll definitely be coming back to take more of their classes. If you’re looking to learn how to shoot safely or improve your skills, I highly recommend this place.

I’ve been to all three DCF Guns locations and have had great experiences at each one. As a woman, I especially appreciate how welcoming and respectful the staff are. Whether you’re brand new to firearms or have years of experience, they take the time to answer questions and make sure you feel comfortable.
West is probably my favorite location. Matt does a great job running the store and is genuinely hilarious, which makes every visit enjoyable. The rest of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help, whether you’re shopping or just there for range time.
Castle Rock is a close second. I’ve been shooting there for years and bought my first firearm there. Tanner runs a great store, and the management team is clearly passionate about what they do. On my last visit, one of their newer employees, Megan, checked me in and was incredibly nice and welcoming.
East is another solid location with a great range and helpful staff. And of course, Milo the store dog is always a highlight.
What I appreciate most about DCF is that they really have something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for training, gunsmithing services, purchasing your first firearm, or just want a place to spend an afternoon at the range, I’d recommend any of their locations without hesitation

There is a reason I get all of my firearms and training at DCF. Mark, Aaron and Megan made my most recent experience an absolute pleasure. Megan helped me with my initial selection, Aaron was a huge help in options for optics, Mark help me figure out the perfect configuration for attachments. I researched things for hours on my own beforehand and gave them some tough questions I could not find answers to; which they handled like the seasoned professionals they are. Thank you DCF!
