Colorado Springs, CO – Concealed Handgun SUPPLEMENTAL Course – March 22nd, 2025

Yes! This does meet the requirements to obtain a Concealed Handgun Permit in Colorado and many other states.  This 4 hour range class plus the 4 hour Classroom Course will satisfy the new training requirements that go fully into effect July 1st. If you apply before July 1st (in most counties), you will be fine with just this 4 hour class. El Paso county is so backed up that you cannot get in before July 1st. Few rural counties are already requiring the new training. Visit your jurisdictions website to get info about how they’re handling this.  

This class is intended to provide the REMAINING requirements under the NEW Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit for GFE Students WHO HAVE ALREADY ATTENDED our Classroom class. If you took our Classroom portion and did not get an appointment with your sheriff before the June 30th cutoff date, you can take this class to complete your training requirements.  This class is only useful to you if you already attended one of our classroom courses.  Please do not sign up for this class if you have not taken our classroom class.

The class will include the mandated testing, review of required topics, and include the updated Concealed Handgun Training Certificate, valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

This course will also cover state mandated REFRESHER requirements including:

• Written Exam (open book)
• Shooting test (Instructor Discretion)
• State mandated training topics 

At the end of the course students will be issued a NEW Colorado Compliant Concealed Handgun Training Certificate, valid for 1 year.

General Public / Law Enforcement / Military / Private Security

Course Eligibility:
Previously attended a Guns For Everyone FREE Concealed Carry Class (attendance will be verified)

Cost:  FREE 

Please bring the following gear to the course (LOANER EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE BUT YOU NEED TO CONTACT US DIRECTLY TO ARRANGE):

• Modern Pistol (Semi Automatic Strongly Recommended)
• Good quality belt, holster and magazine carrier that can withstand heavy use
• 200 rounds of ammunition
• Eye and ear protection.
• Comfort items such as snacks, drinks
• Sunscreen and bug spray if training outdoors
• Weather appropriate clothing

Students must arrive at the Pikes Peak Gun Club Range Office no later than 12:00PM.  You will need to sign in at the Range Office and pay the REQUIRED $12 Range Fee, then we will proceed as a group to the assigned Range. Plan on about 4-5 hours for the class.
