Colorado Springs, CO – Concealed Handgun REFRESHER/RENEWAL Course – April 12, 2025

Yes! This does meet the requirements to obtain a Concealed Handgun Permit in Colorado and many other states.  This plus the 3 hour range class will satisfy the new training requirements for a RENEWAL that go fully into effect July 1st.

This class meets the NEW Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit REFRESHER Course training requirements for all Colorado Counties.  The class will include the mandated testing, review of required topics, and include the updated Concealed Handgun REFRESHER Training Certificate, valid for 1 year from the date of issue.  This is the class you will need to RENEW a Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit.

This course will also cover state mandated REFRESHER requirements including:

• Written Exam (open book)
• Shooting test (Instructor Discretion)
• State mandated training topics 

At the end of the course students will be issued a Colorado Concealed Handgun REFRESHER Training compliant Certificate, valid for 1 year.

General Public / Law Enforcement / Military / Private Security

Please bring the following gear to the course (LOANER EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE BUT YOU NEED TO CONTACT US DIRECTLY TO ARRANGE):

• Modern Pistol (Semi Automatic Strongly Recommended)
• Good quality belt, holster 
• 50 rounds of ammunition
• Eye and ear protection.
• Comfort items such as snacks, drinks
• Sunscreen and bug spray if training outdoors
• Weather appropriate clothing

Students must arrive at the Pikes Peak Gun Club Range Office no later than 2:00 PM.  You will need to sign in at the Range Office, then we will proceed as a group to the assigned Range. Plan on about 3 hours for the class.
